OFFICIAL THEME OF INHESION 2021
Greetings, nutripals! The most awaited 2021 Inhesion is getting closer. While we are still struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, there are issues that remain unsolved: Rising Hunger and Malnutrition. Malnutrition is the most common pathological condition resulting from deficiency or excess of necessary nutrients. It is the cause of approximately 60% deaths of children in developing countries, and around 820 million people in this world are suffering from acute hunger.
COVID-19 makes access to fresh and nutritious foods becomes harder as it turns down the economy and makes increasing amounts of foods unable to reach the market. The progress to overcome these issues has been rather slow and even worse with the current pandemic situation. More creative, innovative, and effective strategies are needed to solve these problems.
Therefore, the 2021 Inhesion will be held under the theme: “Innovative Strategies to Prevent and Manage Malnutrition in Developing Countries”. We hope to facilitate the participants in deepening and delivering their ideas and solution to prevent and decrease malnutrition cases in developing countries, especially from a nutritional perspective.
Are you ready to join us and resolve these issues together?
Stay tuned for further updates!
