This year, the International Nutrition and Health Symposium will be held online on Sunday, 31st October 2021 with the theme “Innovative Strategies to Prevent and Manage Malnutrition in Developing Countries”.

We invite academic scientists, practitioners, and student majoring in related fields to exchange and share their ideas and experiences in health, lifestyle, and nutrition.

📌 The abstract submission is extended until 24th October 2021. Please mark your calendar and plan to share your important work at the INHESION 2021!
📌 The selected manuscript will be published as a full paper at JGKI (Jurnal Gizi Klinik Indonesia) Special Issue Edition after being reviewed

OPEN REGISTRATION INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

INHESION is an international scientific symposium and competition organized by HIMAGIKA and the Department of Nutrition and Health, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). In the previous 5 years, various nutrition-related topics had been chosen as the themes of these events annually. This year, carrying “Innovative Strategies to Prevent and Manage Malnutrition in Developing Countries” as the grand theme, the event aims to discuss new innovative strategies to prevent or manage malnutrition in developing countries, especially using nutrition-based approaches.

    As you may have already known, malnutrition is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in children worldwide. The impacts of pandemic have caused a deep concern among nutrition experts because it has disrupted the food system. In response to these issues, several actions have been carried out to keep on track with the SDGs 2030 targets. Thus, more creative, innovative, and responsive strategies are required to solve the current challenges in the prevention and management of child malnutrition.

    This event will be held on Sunday, October 31st 2021 virtually via Zoom Conference. We gladly invite academic scientists, practitioners, and students majoring in related fields to exchange and share their ideas and experiences in health, lifestyle, and nutrition and all of the participants will get e-certificate (with SKP PERSAGI).
